Our Team
Dr. Benecia Williams
Co-Founder & Physician
Dr. Benecia Williams—double board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine—is an Attending Physician at PMR Fort Worth specializing in musculoskeletal/sports medicine, interventional spine medicine, fluoroscopic and ultrasound procedures. Today, Dr. Williams continues to service PMR Fort Worth patients in several sports medicine arenas, offering peripheral joint injections, regenerative medicine, and Botox injections for chronic migraine treatment and spasticity/dystonia management. She has a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science. She enjoys working with patients to reach their physical and weight loss goals!
Dr. Nilda Lopez
Co-Founder & Physician
Dr. Nilda Lopez is a Family Medicine physician with a kind and caring manner. A long-time resident of north Texas, she earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She gained family medicine training and experience during her residency at John Peter Smith Hospital. She has additional training for the care of patients of advanced age and completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital. She provides comprehensive primary care, with particular interests in geriatric medicine, pediatrics, and tropical medicine. She most enjoys the ability to care for the whole family at all stages of life. Dr. Lopez enjoys mission work, poetry, singing, traveling, being involved with her church, and spending time with her husband and children.
Carolina Vigil was born in Peru but has been a long-time resident of North Texas since age 3. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BBA in International Business. From her first job in high school to her current career in sales, her responsibilities have included sales, marketing, and customer service. Carolina lives an active lifestyle where health and fitness are essential to her. Upon turning 40 and struggling with weight loss, she was prescribed Tirzepatide. This was just the jump-start to shed the weight, boost her confidence, and continue her health and fitness journey. After noticing how impactful the medication was, she partnered with Dr. Williams and Dr. Lopez to form Trimm Off. They aim to help others get great weight loss results at an affordable cost, with exceptional patient care and customer service.
